Activated alumina
Used for example cement, mining and chemical industry.
Activated alumina is an excellent all purpose desiccant for drying compressed air. It has an extremely porous structure and high surface area-to-mass ratio; and can adsorb gases and liquids without changing its form. It works as a desiccant through adsorption.
Features
Applicable inlet conditions up to 50°C/120°F, this drying agent is resistant against free water. Regeneration temperatures for heated reactivated applications are up to 180°C/356°F.
Applications
Heatless, heated purge and heated blower purge adsorption dryers for pressure dewpoints down to -40°C/-40°F.
Benefits
High adsorption capacity for reducing initial cost, energy consumption, and operating costs
Used in Food & beverage and the chemical industry.
Silicagel is a tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and chemically inert substance. By adsorbing moisture, it can stop mold from growing and prevent items in the production line from spoiling or being damaged in other ways.
Applications
Heated purge, heated blower purge and heat of compression adsorption dryers for pressure dewpoints down to -40°C/-40°F. Regeneration temperatures for heated reactivated applications are up to 150°C/302°F.
Features
Applicable inlet conditions up to 50°C/120°F, this drying agent is resistant against free water. Regeneration temperatures for heated reactivated applications are up to 180°C/356°F.
This type of activated carbon removes oil and volatile organic compounds from compressed air. Activated carbon is available in many variants with all different properties, each for a specific application. This one is thoroughly in-house tested and compared with other materials in order to find the material with the best adsorption capacity in compressed air systems.
Applications
Activated Carbon is the only material that can remove oil vapors, hydrocarbons, taste and odours.
Used in the pharmaceutical and the semiconductor industry.
Molecular Sieves are a crystalline composition with uniform pores that is measured in angstroms. This composition makes Molecular Sieve more effective than other types of desiccants. Because of their crystalline composition; they can create virtually water-free products.
Applications
Heatless, heated purge, heated blower purge and heat of compression adsorption dryers for pressure dewpoints down to -70°C/-100°F and for high inlet temperatures up to 60°C/140°F. Regeneration temperatures for heated reactivated applications are up to 240°C/464°F.
Features
Applicable inlet conditions up to 60°C/140°F.
Benefits
Can handle high inlet temperatures and delivers low dewpoints
Used in all applications with oil injected compressors.
This type of activated carbon is used to remove oil emulsions and organic molecules from drained condensate from compressed air systems. Activated carbon is available in many variants with all different properties each for a specific application. This one is thoroughly in-house tested and compared with other materials in order to find the material with the best adsorption capacity to remove oily emulsions from the drained water.
Applications
Oil emulsion removal from oil containing condensate.
The CO catalyst is used in Medical and Breathing air systems. To ensure no toxic carbon monoxide gas
is present in the compressed air, the catalyst converts CO in CO2.
Applications
CO to CO2 convertors in medical gas and breathing air systems.
Carbon molecular sieve is a common adsorbent for Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) system Nitrogen gas generator. There is a differential diffusion rate system based on the fact that the oxygen molecule is smaller than the nitrogen molecule.
CMS adsorbs oxygen gas, moisture, carbon dioxide gas, etc. into the compressed air in a short time and the compressed nitrogen is available at the outlet. When the pressure drops to atmospheric or vacuum level, the carbon molecular sieve which has adsorbed oxygen gas and others easily desorbs them and is regenerated.
When the above two operations are performed alternately between two adsorption columns, nitrogen gas can be continuously available from air.
Applications
Applicable for high productivity PSA.
Features
High nitrogen gas generation due to the high speed of Oxygen adsorption
High nitrogen purity due to the selective adsorption
